Theory to Thrive

Tara-Sky Woodward

Hailing from the rural woods of Michigan, Tara-Sky cultivates a holistic approach to wellbeing that considers our innate connection to nature and community. A graduate of both the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and School of Social Work (SSW), she offers dual expertise to support both social and individual resilience. As a teacher, practitioner, and researcher, Tara-Sky brings a mindful, systems-based approach to fostering the regenerative connections we need to thrive.

Tara-Sky is a current lecturer in environmental psychology at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and facilitates nature-based programs at her farm. Her spare time is often spent reading old books, chasing young goats, and adventuring with her family.
